Everything Changes

Thursday, July 25, 2013

I think one of the hardest parts about rejoining the work force, is how that as a fall out of only being able to spend nights and weekends as a family, everything changes more quickly. Week nights go by in a blur, with the all the kids up for a few hours at most before heading off to bed. It's on the weekends that you finally get the time to take in what new phrases or concepts are being learned, or at Miri's age, basic skills.

I was so thrilled to be home when she rolled over for the first time! Isaac had just gotten up from his nap and was sitting in my lap. He was her biggest cheerleader and we sat and watched her, hoping to catch her do it again! We lucked out and she did!

My big little girl. Rolling over is just the beginning.

Seriously Leah. You need to model that child. So pretty.

What a little slice of heaven, she is!
It's been awhile since I've commented on your blog but I still read, and I'm just catching up from your post regarding a hateful comment. I love that you've always blogged for yourself (or so it seems). Last night I went back and read several pages into my archives, and I love the words, and the pictues. I truly miss blogging regularly and I don't want to quit. When you blog for yourself, you don't have to worry about impressing anyone or being "popular" or getting hits- it's truly an old school diary to treasure and that's what you have. Don't ever let anyone dictate your story or bring you down! You are a hard working momma with amazing, God given talents and a beautiful family. If people don't like that then there are blogs a plenty that will suit their taste (or maybe not... Those kinds of people just hate life. Poor them!)

She is too cute! Its interesting that Isaac is her biggest cheerleader... my nephew is the same way with his little sister... he is now encouraging her to "walk baby... come on baby...walk!"
