37 weeks | Baby Sweets

This my friends is a #fullterm #babybump! #37weeks and I'm thankfully still feeling great. So grateful for this little girl.

How far along: 37 weeks. [37w with Ezra, 37w with Isaac

How big is baby: Little miss is measuring in over 19 inches and over 6 pounds.

Weight gain/loss: Back up to 21lbs.

Stretch marks: After two pregnancies, I somehow still don't have any.

Sleep: The tossing and turning and pregnancy insomnia have returned, but thankfully so has Ezra’s ability to sleep through the night. In the last two years, I don’t think we’ve gotten as much sleep as we currently are, at least on a family average. I have to have something between my legs now or otherwise I’m unable to sleep comfortably.

Diet/Cravings/Aversions: By the time I’m done with this pregnancy, I need to fill my face with fish tacos and pad thai. I know where to get my Thai craving filled, but I don’t normally order fish tacos, so I’m hesitant to pull the trigger.

Movement: My goodness this girl can stretch out in a small space.

What I'm loving: Life. I’m loving my life. The house I hate, the job I hate, the paycheck to paycheck, the dinner making every night, the squabbles between the boys and the bed time battles. Well, maybe not the job. ;) With my photography duties behind me for the short term near future, I’m just living life as a working mama of two boys and wife to a great man, and it’s a really good life. I’m so glad that I was strict with my scheduling this time, because I fully intend to just soak in this life of a family of 4, as it is currently.

I’m also loving how sweet Isaac has been towards his baby sister, both in speaking of her and touching my belly.

Symptoms: The whole kit and caboodle! I will say though that coconut water seems to be the bomb at keeping my leg cramps at bay!

What I'm looking forward to: Tomorrow is our evening session with Gina and I’m just hoping we get some fun sweet images of this fleeting time.

Best moment of the week: Probably last night, when Isaac asked to take a picture of me. His hands aren’t so steady with the phone camera, so I kept trying to get him to point the phone up, more towards my face. He didn’t want to though, because he said “Mama, I want to take a picture of my baby sister.” And he did. :) It's not a great picture by way of composition/light, but I love it all the same.

How I'm feeling: Pretty emotional lately. I’ve expressed some apprehension over having a daughter as we get closer and closer to meeting her. Overall though, I just am amazed by the blessings in our life.  When we hear the boys go off in peals of laughter, egging each other on and hearing pure joy. Watching Ezra methodically take in the world and copy everything that he sees his big brother do or say. Sitting down to read bedtime books and being “read” to by Isaac. It’s just, so much.

Maynard's on Lake Minnetonka has the best fish tacos in the cities, hands down.
