25 weeks | Baby Sweets

 My daughter will be born this year! Happy 2013. :) Moving in on 3rd tri already! #25weeks with #baby3. #babysweetsbabybump #itsagirl #pregnant #pregnancy #babysweets #babybump #bumpstyle #maternityootd #dueinApril

How far along: 25 weeks. [25 with Isaac]

How big is baby: A cauliflower at 13.6-14.8 inches and 1.5-2.2 pounds. Baby Sweets now knows which way is up and which was is down. At the ultrasound last week she was head down . . . so lets see if she continues the trend!

Weight gain/loss: So, after the whole hubbub with having a 10lb & 11lb gain in back to back months, including Thanksgiving and Christmas, the scale has settled down to show a total of a 16lb gain. In comparison to where I was at at 25w with Isaac and Ezra I’m only 3 pounds more, so I’m not stressing about it.

Stretch marks: After two pregnancies, I somehow still don't have any.

Sleep: I’m really hoping it was just a fluke, but I woke up no less than 8 times last night. I’m one tired mama. I really hope I don’t get caught up with pregnancy insomnia.

Diet/Cravings/Aversions: See week 24. Salads, salads, salads. Also, I think that this pregnancy has robbed me of my tastebuds. So many things just taste extremely flat and bland. Oh, and I straight up feel like a total boozehound. I want a drink so incredibly bad! I can’t even decide it if it will be a nice frosty lager, crispy hard apple cider or nice goblet of wine.

Movement: I’m feeling regular movement now, but still not quite hourly.

What I'm loving: Being pregnant. Feeling blessed.

Symptoms: Heartburn, insomnia, moodiness, fatigue, sore boobs, weight gain . . . you know the usual. I’m just so tired right now.

What I'm looking forward to: We have some fun plans for the weekend and I’m incredibly looking forward to them . . . although maybe not the required swim wear. :/

Best moment of the week: Ringing in the new year safely with my family.I had a pretty crappy day at work and Tony came through by picking up a whole slew of relatively healthy appetizers, as opposed to our traditional fair of gut bombs. After getting the boys to bed, also unlike the past three years where they've stayed up with us, I made a paleo mug cake [mashed banana, cocoa powder, egg, handful of dark chocolate chips]. Tony and I snuggled in on the couch and watched Miracle for the 3rd year in a row and kissed in the new year following the end of the movie.
"Do you believe in Miracles?!" These two old farts made it, with tea in hand. HAPPY NEW YEAR!  #cmon2013 #sleepytimetea

Ugh. I have pregnancy insomnia, and it's kicking my butt. I didn't have it with Ethan, and it's so frustrating to me, going to bed so late, and having to fully function with a toddler all day the next day. Haha. :\

I'm glad that you went back to compare your weight and confirm that you're not totally off. Those dr./midwives just like to say those things to freak you out, I think.

Love the picture of you and Tony and that little mug cake sounds really good!

Happy New Year!

I've been reading your blog for sometime, and I'm so happy for you! I recently became a stay at home mom and what a blessing for you to be able to do that as well!

Adorable. I've had salad *twice* this entire pregnancy. Ironic, considering I was a vegetarian. :)
