Oh yeah . . .

Am I the only one who frequently forgets what they're going to blog about? Quite often I open up blogger, because I know I'm going to want to say something throughout the day. Unfortunately that topic changes like eleventy billion times because I forget the main point.

Even now I'm getting side tracked because I never shared a story about last week and how I forgot to turn the headlights off on the Jeep. The auto feature never suits my liking since they don't turn on on overcast days, so I'm forced to turn them on automatically. And that dinging as you're leaving the car, cluing you in that you forgot to do something? Well it doesn't help when you're picking up your boys and are leaving the keys in the ignition. So three times, I had to get the Jeep jumped last week. It became quite the conversation starter with Isaac and I. I don't know how many times he asked me "Mama, why did you leave the headlights on?" or "Mama, did you leave the headlights on?"

I finally resorted to telling him that while he was growing in my belly, that in order to make him as wonderful as he is, that mama had to give him some of my brains.

And the same thing with Ezra.

Because really, how does one leave the headlights on three times in the same week?

About a minute later Isaac asked, "So did I drink them all?"

Just as an FYI, if you ever try to explain "mommy brain" to your almost three year old, he will definitely assume that he drank your brains.

But the main point of this was to inform you all and request some prayers regarding my Mom and Stepdad's mission trip to Argentina. They left Sunday and arrived safely yesterday, whoops!

I know that this will be a game changer for my Mom. I have half a mind to prepare for her to stay.

Please pray for their health, their hearts and for God's will.

I love your writing. It's fun to read :) I just wanted to say that I'm sorry about your loss of Josiah. We too lost our little baby girl Rowan on Feb. 28th. I have read some of your previous posts about your experience and find that I have had many of the exact same feelings and thoughts. Thanks for writing them.

I love looking at the pictures of your boys in the hats that you bought from me. You take some great pictures as well!

Funny story. I love when toddlers say cute things like that. I can't wait till my daughter starts talking.

Praying for God's covering over your family...

I can totally relate... Went to the library today, parked at a meter, got Lil and my book list out of the car... Forgot to feed the meter and now have a parking ticket. Duh. The fifty cents needed to plug the machine is still in the pocket of my jeans. Ugh, mommy brain strikes again!
