My brown eyed boy, Ezra.

Thursday, November 10, 2011

We often joke that Ezra would smile at a doorknob. We don't mean to slight the people who are extremely thrilled to be rewarded with a smile, it's just that well, the boy loves to smile.

It's so odd to me then, that three of my most favorite images of E, he isn't smiling, but instead is very somber. This is the newest. It's all in the eyes.

A part of me is sad that I haven't been able to pass on my blue eyes to either of my boys, darn dominant genes and all, but this boys brown eyes are still gorgeous.

Ezra, we are so thankful that you are in our lives. You are such a true blessing from God.

So cute! He's got beautiful, expressive eyes.

I know how you feel about not passing on traits. I obviously haven't had a kid yet, but I already know our babies will look like their daddy. That makes me so happy seeing as I am very partial to Asian babies, but to get a little redhead, a baby with some freckles, or some deep green eyes would make me very happy. Oh well, that's what grandbabies are for!

I adore beautiful brown eyes (my husbands in particular), and Ezras are perfect!

I haven't commented in a while, but I just wanted to say that Ezra is so precious. The joy in a baby's eyes is like nothing else, no matter what color they may be. ;)

Ezra's look is definitely: all in the adorable!

I love brown eyes! Cameron's are so dark, they're almost black- but Kylie's are soooo blue! Opposite ends of the spectrum, for sure. So don't give up hope on a blue eyed baby. :)

Very cute and beautiful eyes! Your grandchildren will probably get the blue from you. Our son has blue eyes and both my husband and I have brown! We think it's from the grandparents/great grandparents.

grass is always greener on the other side, I would LOVE if I or either of my boys had brown eyes! (which will never happen, ha)
