I avoided nuks with Isaac due to an overwhelming fear of the dreaded "nipple confusion." This time though, I honestly forgot that there was such a thing and that it would be recommended to wait until he was at least a few weeks old to introduce it.
Ezra had his first nuk at 4 days old.
And this is how we feel about it.

It just might be what saved my nipples this time too. I'll admit I was worried that there would be a time that he really wanted to eat and I didn't understand how we'd get through cluster feeding, but turns out it's pretty simple. If he wants to eat, the nuk just won't cut it. Considering he's tipping the scales at over 12 lbs, there's been no issue with eating.
And this is just my most recent favorite.

Lizzy loved the Avent pacis too, and so did I!
I love how carefree parents are the second time around! I hope to let go of things that I worried about so much with Eli. I remember that dreaded "paci" and the anxiety I felt when he finally got one. So much wasted energy!
He is so darn cute Leah!
Ah, so cute Leah.
We LOVE MAMs!! Yay for pacis.
My boys are both binky lovers too... so cute!
I see a lot of Isaac in that last picture :)
We weren't sold on a bink... and really C isn't either. He will only really take it when he's in the car or in his car seat. I'm happy about that... we use soothies and they are just so cute because you can see their little mouth working to keep it in their mouths... Started the madness at 3 or 4 days old...
