Even better, a few years back, Aaron started dating Missy, an old friend of mine who went to the same small private school as I did. Talk about a small world.

I am amazingly blessed to have chosen my 2nd family, my friends. And Friday night, Aaron and Missy showed us their love by showing up at our house with a brand new window air conditioning unit.
Did you read that?
I'll let it sink in.
It took me awhile Friday night too.
But when it finally did, there were plenty of tears of gratitude.
And I wasn't the only one crying, Tony was too, even if he doesn't admit it.
Missy said it was a total God thing and that it was just placed on their hearts to do.
I call it remarkable and above and beyond the call of friendship.
We are so blessed.

Teary eyed here. God knows what He's doing when He places people in our lives, doesn't He?

What an amazing blessing, they sound like friends to treasure! So happy you guys won't be roasting anymore!
sigh... that's just awesome. You are blessed. We were offered a window unit to battle this oppressive heat from the manager at the local Panera. We were in there to cool off with our kids and started chatting. Ultimately he told us where he lived and that he would be happy to give us his. It was such a generous moment.
Reading this post gave me chills!
So awesome!
How wonderful! What a blessing to have friends like that. So many times, our friends have pulled through for us - most of them, anonymously, but a few right up front like that. It's so amazing to see God use people for His purposes. Happy for you!
This is amazing, Leah! God will provide. One way or another ;)
