This weekend we went out for a family breakfast Saturday morning and then following breakfast, we drove up to Alexandria for my Stepmom's annual family reunion.
Except, then he woke up and he didn't get more than 20 minutes of sleep.
Regardless, he.had.a.blast.
How could he not with this to play with?

And cousin's to douse in water?

And his favorite uncle to rough house with?

While we weren't working he even snuck in some time attempting to play the sport that we don't acknowledge even exists. If you remember, we regard it as a swear word in our house!

Little Chase loves his Dad's shoes.

Pure joy!

There were a lot of snuggles and thankfully, the weather was cooler than in the Cities!

Seriously, this kid is too cute.

Oh and then there was this girl, holding my baby.

Op, more cousins. And watermelon.

Isn't he still freaking cute?

And here's Rocco! Wait, you want to know about the girl?

This girl? With my brother?

Oh look, Isaac fishing with Grandpa!

Love Tony's pictures, seriously.

Especially of my boys.

Levi's not the only one who likes her, a lot.

And in addition to Isaac and Levi, Tony and I like her a lot as well! I really hope that this is the first of many pictures I take of these two, because while I think the world of my brother, they are both equally lucky to know each other. This girl brings out the best of my brother.

After Tony played a game of basketball himself, if you can call it that [sorry Ton], Isaac was all about it.

I can't help but want to say "GOOOOOOOAAAAAAALLLLL!" It's all I know.

Clearly pleased with himself.

I can't get him to look at the camera lately, so I treasure this picture!

[And yes, as everyone kept noting, he is a "solid boy."]
Picture perfect ending to a great day!

Ok so how did you teach Tony how to use your camera? I'm trying to teach my husband but we both just get frustrated. I'm thinking aperture priority may be the best mode for him to use. Any tips?
Love all these photos, and it looks like it was a great weekend!
PS- It looks like Isaac has a little bit of a knack for basketball. In that first photo, he's in almost perfect "triple threat" (i.e. you can pass, dribble, or shoot) position ;)
What a great idea to use a strainer as a water toy! Looks like a great day!
First off, Levi's GF is so cute! She looks like such a sweetheart. And that watery bounce house thing? Blast. I wish Colin had more little cousins to play with :( Looks like an awesome day in Alex!
You look like you and your family are having so much fun and treasuring every moment together on your leave. I was so overwhelmed and didn't even leave the house.
Gorgeous gorgeous pics Leah.
What great photos! And your brother's g/f is so cute! They make a cute couple!
Looks like a great weekend! I can't tell you how much I love your blog! You have a beautiful family!
