This style board was something I'd been working on for at least two months. I got an idea into my head and I just couldn't shake it and it all started with Tony's shirt. I will again reiterate the best place to start when planning outfits for a photo session is with pieces you already own.
Outfit 1

Previously owned::
Tony: Shirt [similar here], jeans [similar here] and shoes.
Leah: Tank top, jeans, belt and sandals.
Isaac: Shorts and shoes [similar here].
Purchased::
Tony: Nada.
Leah: Due to the generous gift of Kirsten at The Newlyweds Next Door, in encouragement to keep it weird a la Dave Ramsey, the cardigan was purchased from Old Navy. White and grey top from Forever21.
Isaac: Due to completing online surveys, Isaac's shirt was purchased via a free AE gift card from 77 Kids.
Outfit 2

Previously owned::
Tony: Shirt [as I said to Gina it's A&F, so I know it's old back when we had $70 to spend on a dress shirt!], jeans [similar here] and shoes.
Leah: Cardigan and necklaces.
Isaac: Shirt, shorts and shoes [similar here].
Purchased::
Tony: Nada.
Leah: Dress from Marshall's.
Isaac: Nada.

I have got to figure out our outfits for our family photos in a week and a half! Things get complicated when you add a whole other person to the color/pattern mix!
p.s. I am so excited that you are having a birth photographer. How exciting!
