- Just in case anyone is stalking me, I change up my daily routine. That is to say, sometimes I sleep in and sometimes I don't, which means I have an early and a late bus to catch. I love days that start with my grabbing the early bus and Nadia steps aboard when we get downtown. We don't get to grab dinner or drinks very often, but at least we can count on a quick 5 minutes of face time between our calls and emails.

- If you haven't come out of Google Reader to comment recently, you're missing out on the blog's new digs. I went with a premade this time by Designer Blogs and I just love the sweet, subtle design. I have got to say thank you to you guys, because this design change was courtesy of a Blogher Ad check I received and a discount because some of you were so kind enough to list me as your referral! So thank you, thank you! I stuck with my last design for 6 months, but was definitely starting to get a little stir crazy.

- Yesterday was a pretty rough day, so I compensated with a little bit of emotional eating. Now, I don't know about you, but I'm pretty quick to realize it's an even worse day than I thought when nummy food doesn't do the trick and it didn't yesterday. The evening capped it off by my driving 20 minutes to the quilt shop, since I'm around 30 squares short, only to arrive to find it had just closed.

- Isaac has been a little bit of a bear recently. We've had two instances where I seriously wondered if the neighbors would call the cops, because he sounded like he was screaming and crying for his life. You'd have never known that Tony and I were trying to put a bandaid on a mosquito bite that he'd scratched raw or that I was trying to clip a toe nail that had broken and was causing him pain. I keep joking that we got pregnant with Baby Love relatively quickly to having Isaac so that we were still naive of how difficult parenting could be, but somedays I wish it wasn't so close to the truth! Isaac's favorite phrases:

- No.
- I don't. [if he's told to not say "No."]
- Igiss awake now. [said in response to needing a nap or going to bed]
- I want: that, milk, cookies, to go outside, to go for a walk, to play baseball, neighbors backyard [he says this of almost every house when we go on a walk, that he wants to go in our neighbors backyards]
- Don't touch Igiss.
- Don't hold Igiss.
- Igiss do it.
- Leave Igiss alone.

- We're going camping this weekend! Although the weather forecast isn't exactly favorable, we're all determined to have a good time. My whole family is going and I'm so excited to take Isaac on the boat and fishing for the first time. I'm very thankful that Tony's dad is letting us borrow his boat for the weekend and my inlaws even got Isaac a lifejacket for his birthday! Tony and I both grew up camping, with somewhat similar experiences, so Tony is a bit put off by the fact that we aren't tenting it this year, but instead will be using my parent's tent trailer. I can't say it went over well when he tried to give me grief for it, I told him that I do not feel the need to prove anything when almost 8 months pregnant! He quickly saw my point, but still tried to argue that an air mattress in a tent might be more comfortable than the bed in the tent trailer.

Only one more day until my first pizza pocket sandwich roasted hot over the fire! Can not wait.

- I submit my maternity leave proposal two days ago and have been waiting anxiously since for any word from my supervisor! Basically, since I do qualify for short term disability, the proposal is the difference between the last 6 weeks of my leave being unpaid or working 2 days a week from home for the last 4 weeks to bring in a bit of money. Either way my leave has been approved and is covered by FMLA this time for 12 weeks, now it's just a matter of schematics and dollar bills. What a difference between my pregnancy with Isaac!

- Fingers crossed we shoot our mat/fam session tonight!

- I am not ready for Baby Love's arrival, so I hope he stays nice and comfy for at least 5 more weeks!

I love the new design! I've never even looked into any kind of design for my blog - I'm so lazy about it and know tons of people just use Google Reader, but I do appreciate a beautiful blog! I don't think I've changed a single thing other than adding my twitter since I started it 3 years ago!

I'm so glad you qualify for FMLA this time... I definitely remember you needing Isaac to come after a certain date to even get those 6 weeks, right?? And didn't he JUST make it by like an hour or something?? So crazy. Hope the 2 days/week gets approved!

Love the new design! I just changed mine up a bit and I must admit, the change has been nice!

How nice that you'll have the STD and FMLA to fall back on, one less thing to have to worry about!

the new design looks great - loving the colors, simplicity, and of course that fun banner design!

I can't believe it's only 5 more weeks until Baby Love! Time flies!

and of course, best of luck with pictures and camping - can't wait to see pictures of both adventures!

The new design is great! I'm glad you mentioned it because I have been slack about just reading on Google lately ;) Okay... and just so you know you're not alone... Josiah FREAKS out if we try to put a bandaid on him or clip his toenails. It's like the bandaid is so much worse than the injury itself?? And Lightning McQueen or Thomas or any of his other "best friends" being on the bandaid don't make a bit of difference. :( Crazy boys! I couldn't help but smile and cringe at the same time when reading Isaac's frequent comments... they are all too familiar in this "almost-2-year-old" household too. Oh the joys... ;) Good thing they're so darn cute!

Love the new design! Sorry you had such a rough day that even food could not improve - that's definitely saying something :(

We've been joking lately that we've entered the "terrible two's"...such fun, isn't it? So I totally get you on the never ending "I want" list :)

Love the name Isaac has for himself. Even if it is said in frustrating times. :)

And I'm really excited for you that you get a full 12 weeks off!

Love the new space! It looks great over here!

I also love and hate Issac's phases that he's going through... So sweet, yet not so fun for mama.

I can't wait to hear how your proposal is excepted! I hope you get what you ask for!!

And YEAH for maternity pictures! :)

Don't you love BlogHer ad checks?!

Also, I went tent camping when I was 4 months pregnant with Lizzy, and it SUCKED. Kudos to you for being reasonable about taking the tent trailer!
