Another couple was there to pick up their daughter and as I leaned next to Isaac to button his jacket, Isaac patted my arm, looked at the dad and simply said "My mama."
I never realized how profound those words could be.
He again patted my arm, repeated "My mama." and then nestled his head to lean on my arm. It was absolute bliss. He spoke the words with assurance, the only way I would want him to.
This boy? He's got his Mama's hair, Daddy's eye color, Mama's nose and his Daddy's face shape.

Most importantly, he's got his Daddy's heart. He loves whole-heartedly.

Seriously, tears welling up in my eyes...
So sweet.
Made me cry :) Such sweetness!
This brought to my mind that one post awhile ago where you wrote about Isaac favoring your mama, which I know was really hard for you. What an awesome moment, especially in light of that! So sweet!
He is really looking like a toddler!! Almost 2? I can't believe it!
PS- it's CRAZY how big he will seem once your new baby gets here. He'll seem to gain 20 lbs and be a foot taller, overnight. =)
That is really, really, REALLY sweet! It made my heart smile!
melting.
See? Doesn't that make up for the phase when he wanted YOUR mama a lot? :)
Gulp. I do not want babies, I do not want babies, I do not want....
Isaac is so adorable!
