Four months. Craziness people, just craziness. I love being able to say that I'm 4 months pregnant!

16w2d vs 16w4d with Isaac.

And clothed.
[Yay for Target clearance on the sweater and my favorite AE jeans]

From my weekly email:
Get ready for a growth spurt. In the next few weeks, your baby will double his weight and add inches to his length. Right now, he's about the size of an avocado: 4 1/2 inches long (head to rump) and 3 1/2 ounces. His legs are much more developed, his head is more erect than it has been, and his eyes have moved closer to the front of his head. His ears are close to their final position, too. The patterning of his scalp has begun, though his locks aren't recognizable yet. He's even started growing toenails. And there's a lot happening inside as well. For example, his heart is now pumping about 25 quarts of blood each day, and this amount will continue to increase as your baby continues to develop.

How far along?: 16w2d
How big is baby?: The size of an avocado. Which sounds just delicious right now by the way.
Weight gain/loss?: Just edged over 3lbs this morning, 3.4lbs.
Stretch marks?: None, thankfully.
Maternity clothes?: I've been trying to wear my maternity jeans, but they're just too big.
Sleep?: Crazy pregnancy dreams have been attacking, so I haven't been sleeping the best.
Food cravings?: Honestly not many cravings. There is food that sounds good, but I've always loved food so that's not really new.
Gender?: Still unknown, counting down to February 15th.
Movement?: Definitely feeling the baby daily. I love it.
Belly button?: Aside from the damage inflicted by Isaac, unchanged.
What do you miss?: I really miss playing soccer.
What are you looking forward to this week?: I can't wait for Friday! We have our 16w appointment at 8:00am! In addition to hearing the heartbeat I also have a few questions I'm looking forward to asking our midwife.

On guessing the sex of Baby Love Isaac has got to be so sick of this conversation, but for the past almost 4 months, it's gone something like this:

Me: Isaac are you going to have a sister or brother?

Isaac: Sister!

Me: Isaac is it going to be a girl or a boy?

Isaac: GIRL!

Lately, we've included names. I use my two favorite names and Isaac always says the girl one!

He's been so consistent, I think he's honestly starting to sway me to think Baby Love is a girl.

For what it's worth, we always change which order we say the options so that he isn't just saying the 2nd option said. :) Less than a month to go now until we get to see our Baby Love again and find out the sex to boot!

Aww Leah, I'm so happy for you. Too cute about Isaac! He does have a 50% chance! I hope he's right!

Ditto Melissa--did you get a major hair cut, or is it just up? Either way? Super cute.

That is adorable about Isaac--he would be such an amazing older brother to a younger sister, especially come those high school years!

I'm so happppppy for you, Leah!!! Really, you're a complete stranger & I was rooting for you to get pregnant & you did & now I might be inappropriately happy for you!

Also, did you cut you hair?! If so, it's really, really perfect for you. I love it, especially the way it's clipped back! You're looking good!
