Change of Plans

Monday, December 6, 2010

Saturday was not a day to follow the schedule. They were derailed early when Tony's breakfast plans were canceled, followed by the realization that we couldn't go test drive vehicles with Isaac [duh!] and finally, when our car got stuck trying to get out of the driveway to bring Isaac to my mother in law's.

So instead, we did what Minnesotan's do.

We donned our hats, gloves, mittens, scarves, snowpants and jackets to go out into the winter wonderland.

Isaac's favorite place to be.

ps: I can't tell you how much I'm in love with this hat. Only $11 after Gap's 30% event. :)

Isaac was very intrigued by Tony's shoveling action.

He wanted in, right away. Tony will appreciate the help soon, just when Isaac won't consider it fun.

For the time being though, he loved it!

Our praise obviously didn't hurt either.

In the meantime, Allie was just excited to be doing something!

Isaac loved every second of his time with the shovel.

Feeling like a big boy, helping his Daddy.

We're still working on his cheese smile. It has a 50/50 success rate right now.

This was right before his melt down due to bringing him inside! Boy just loves to be outdoors, and I wouldn't have it any other way!

I LOVE his curls peeking out from his hat. Plus, I dont think there is anything cuter than little ones in their boots and snowpants :)

Cute post and great photos, as usual! That hat is AWESOME and just what I was looking for a few months back. I checked Gap but they must not have had this hat yet! It's such a great texture for photos and the light from the snow is just beautiful.

Since he loves being outdoors so much, you guys can come visit and he can play outside with Jaxon... in our 60-70 degree weather. :)

Although, honestly, I am jealous of all the snow. Beautiful pictures and such a cute boy.

What wonderful "winter wonderland" pictures! My boys are PRAYING for snow (they are from Texas and have never gone sledding - can you believe that?!) Isaac is so precious!! :)

That hat is just fabulous! I love it! I really do! Love that he loves to help! I wonder when this stage ends? I'll be so sad when I lose Gooner as a helper for the dishwasher...and it becomes her chore!
