Well then . . .

Monday, April 5, 2010

As noted in the 11 month post, Isaac's personality is really developing. He really does seem to be right in the middle of Tony and I. I can't wait to see more of it! But the one thing right now that drives me bananas is the instantaneous crying when he is blocked from doing that which he wants. I know, I know, it's only going to get worse!

My schedule at work changed last week. PRAISE THE LORD. One of the issues that I had with this position was a required 9-6 shift once a week and a required 1 hour lunch. Thankfully these impositions have been lifted! We were able to choose our start times and preferred lunch schedule, which means that I now work 7:30-4 with a half hour lunch! It is glorious. I only have to leave the house about 15 minutes earlier too!

I just got my outlook invitations. I have three interviews scheduled tomorrow with 5 people. HOLY.CRAP. Pray for me. Please, please pray. Not even that I necessarily get the job, but that first and foremost that I don't make a fool out of myself. I haven't interviewed in over a year and the desired qualifications are a master's . . .

Fallgirly just asked about my thoughts regarding when we'll be having our 2nd child. And well, the short answer is not this year, unless it's His will. I'd love to be pregnant right now and Tony and I were open to it happening these last few months . . . but we can't have a winter baby. There are some business developments that would not favor winter, but the largest reason being Tony's hockey schedule. I don't think I could handle having a newborn with Isaac while Tony was gone so much. I do have more to say on the subject, but I'll probably write closer to when it is applicable to us!
