My pump just died. This is when I wish I were a big influential blog and Medela would hear my cry and just bestow upon me a new pump . . .
I hope Tony can fix it tonight. Not that I have any clue how.
Gah. We do not have money for a new one.
Boo.
ETA: Let's keep in perspective here Leah. I'm still incredibly blessed. Just frustrated.

That's not something any pumping Mom wants to endure! Oh I hope he can fix it! I used the manual one that came with my Medela for 24 hours while I waited for new tubing once and I thought I was going to go crazy. It was workable, but I was very happy to hear that motor running again.
:( What a bummer. I hope Tony can get it fixed for you.

Have you called the Medela customer service line? I've called them before and they were SUPER helpful and sent me free replacement parts that I needed. Good luck!
That's awful. Definitely call Medela. I've heard about numerous moms getting a replacement pump for free.
Call Medela, they have great customer service. And if all else fails you could look into renting one for the duration.
Hope you get it fixed!! And please feel free to vent! We all know you are human and among "virtual" friends.
