What I've been up to . . .

Monday, October 19, 2009

I can't really explain the general lack of blogging lately. I do seem to find myself with time, but I just am not utilizing it to blog. I don't really have much to say I guess. You guys know what it's like, just a funk . . . it'll work itself out. :)

Something that is blogworthy though, I've officially done 5 family sessions now. They were a complete stretch for me, but I did find learning experiences in each. I'm not entirely sure where to proceed from here . . . but am very happy that I get to look forward to two bloggy buddies who proactively approached me for sessions this coming weekend! Chelsie and Jeannie, I can't wait to meet you guys and your respective significant other's/family, especially little Henry!

And now for a complete picture overload, here are the images I've been working with!

As you may remember, this little guy is Rocco. He just turned one!

I have no idea how I'm going to keep up with Isaac at this age.

He was into everything!

My 2nd victim was this family. Ben just turned 3 and has a little sibling on the way!

I better have some endurance built up, because again, I'm not sure how one keeps up with a 3 year old!

He looooves construction equipment and was in awe of the machines.

Everett is my old co-workers son, he's just 3 days younger than Isaac.

Angie is an interior designer and little E had the cutest nursery!
Untitled-3 (3)

And the most stunning blue eyes! His Momma could make him laugh for sure!
Untitled-4 (3)

It was a chilly morning, but we managed to get some outdoor shots.

Finally, my little redheaded boys, Isaiah and Levi.

Cute they be any cuter?

I went to high school with Bekah and Kyle, they were high school sweethearts!

These guys are Ben's cousins!

I averaged 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours each shoot and spent roughly the equivalent at home editing. Once the photos are done, I move on. No more touching.

Last night I also took pics of my friend Randine and her family, but unfortunately I didn't get enough time to make boards. :(

Don't worry about getting into a funk. Like you said, it WILL work itself out. I've been in and out of plenty of those lately, so I know how you feel! Hang in there.

Leah, your pictures are GREAT! I am so glade you are pushing forward and pursing your dream. God has big things in store for you. I'm sure about it. I will keep praying that God's plan for you starts to become more clear.

I think spending 1.5 hours shooting and editing is a GREAT amount of time. Good time management, sister. And love the babies...they are all too cute.

I'm a little late to the party but just had to say you did an amazing job on these photos! I'd be honored to have you take pictures for us some time! I've missed your posts but I'm glad to hear it's not due to lack of time and crazyness!
