Wordfull Wednesday

Wednesday, July 8, 2009

I never seem to be composed enough for a miscellaneous Monday and have way too many words for a wordless Wednesday, so let's go with Wordfull. :)

I really believe that 3 day weekends should be standard. I was able to soak up every freaking minute with Isaac and Tony, in addition to spending time with family and friends and even managing to tackle the dishes {twice}, do a couple loads of laundry, clean the fridge, do diapers, cook a couple meals, and run a 5-miler. It was A-maz-ing.

Token pictures:
My brother and his friend Bryan bought a house and moved in last weekend! They've got some work to do!
My brother's always loved kids and obviously his nephew is no exception, now that he's moved out of my Mom's he's going to have to make time to spend with his bud!
All of the staples a guy needs!
At Lake George, gotta love it!
Isaac gets kissed soooo much! :)
Two cool dudes!
He loves being held by his Daddy!
Beth and Randy's pretty boy Bishop.
They've named all of their pets after X-men characters lol!
Isaac at his first firewords display, much to his Momma's dismay. Tony insisted we go, even though I knew it spelled certain doom for me . . . sure enough, I was up until almost 2:00. :(
Loving on my little man.
Of course that meant that on Monday, I bit it hard. It was like I was leaving Isaac for the first time all over again. Very, very difficult to come in to work after a 3 day weekend, missing your baby like crazy and knowing that your boss isn't in the office.

Last night I had my first photography class! Hi Stacy! :) Our instructor is a little young {almost 23}, but has taught the class for 2 years already. She sarcastic and knowledgable, I think we'll get along swell. :) I really do believe that I will learn a ton from this class and I'm very excited.

Our class only consists of 8 students, 7 ladies and 1 token guy. The very colorful Elinor swept in a little late, but is awesome. The epitome of a breath of fresh air. If you guys care to, she's participating in a competition by MSP Magazine to win a wedding at the Guthrie! She's one of 5 finalists, please vote for her here!

Tonight Tony and I are running a 5K and then tomorrow night I have the first game of my soccer league!

I'm so glad you and the family were able to have a fabulous 3 day weekend. Isaac is so adorable, and I really thought the firework picture would be one him screaming, but he really looked like he enjoyed it!

I had to tell you that I just found out that my brother and sister-in-law are expecting, did I mention I am crazy excited (!!!!!), so I sent her the link to your blog since you were so amazing about posting every week of your pregnancy! I think she'll really enjoy it, and when I get pregnant I will re-read your blog for sure! Thanks!

I was definitely suffering from holiday hangover come Monday but only because I got so much accomplished in such a short time! I definitely agree that 3 day work weeks should be standard! It looks like you got an amazing amount done and had a wonderful 4th! Is it bad to already be looking forward to labor day?
