Holy moly crazy lady :)
You have to get some Wright Socks. They are amazing: rain, sweat, 12 miles, etc. nothing will cause blisters!
runningwarehouse.com has some super great deals on shoes and clothes, and their free next day UPS shipping isn't too shabby either :)
My best running accessory is definitely my running buddy. I just run better when I'm running with another person.
First off, I love the new blog! I haven't been to your site for awhile since I am obsessed with Google reader! :-) 2nd I love Mizuno running shoes. I've owned a lot of running shoes and these are by far my most favorite! I also am pretty cheap when it comes to running clothes, so I like Old Navy's workout clothes and TJ Max has a good selection from time to time. Good luck, I give you tons of credit for running a few 5K's, then a 10 mile run and then a marathon! That's amazing! Best of luck to you!
You know my obsession with my Nike skort, and I was always and Asics shoe girl until my current Saucony pair. Oh, girl, I could talk running stuff with you for hours....don't get me started:)
Whoo hoo for being back to a 5 k!
Gotta love my Gmaps! www.gmap-pedometer.com/
Way to go Leah, very proud!
My favorite running resource is DQ. Run there, eat a blizzard, walk back. Fabulous.
Yeah, me and running? Not so much. I just wanted to say good job and cheer you on!
I just wanted you to know I think you can totally do it and I'm really proud of you Leah!!!
AJ's comment cracked me up. :)
Seriously you are such an encouragement. You just had a kid and you're already kicking some major running butt. It makes my huffing and puffing 2 miles with NO kid look pathetic! Keep up the good work & keep blogging about it! You are my motivation girl! Thank you.
That will burn up inches like you wouldn't believe! I'm so proud of you!
What a calendar that will create! You go girl!
I've got nothing. But good luck. :)
I have no tips and tricks, I am just totally impressed!
dailymile.com because I love to see that I am making some progress!
I hope to be signing up for some of those races as well, and this post just totally inspired me.
Oh, I also noticed none of these races are in Iowa...I think you should remedy this serious situation! :)
My favorite accessories are my husband and dog, because we always run together. It's "all or nothing" with the 3 of us. :-)
Wow can I use YOU for my running resource when, you know, I actually start running? You're ambitious!
For now, I'm with AJ :)
I am so impressed by your plan! I don't know how you find the time to be a new mom, work, and then train for a marathon! Good luck on training.
My Hero <3
My Garmin-- I don't know how I trained without it for so long!
Good luck on your upcoming races :)
