There's paint on them thar walls!

Thursday, April 23, 2009

Tony at first raised some objections to the paint color, declaring it "too purple," but his opinion was quickly vetoed since he's color blind. He didn't disagree that his opinion should be overuled based on my arguement lol.
And this is why, even when my lovely husband decided to tear out and gut the nursery 2 months ago, assuring me that it would be done in 2 weekends tops, that I'm still speaking to him. Unfortunately, the upper stroke of the Y is still visible lol.
And here we have it! A painted nursery, for all of those wondering it's Dutch Boy Refresh Missoula Blue.
Now we're on to casement for the windows and trim!

That looks fantastic! And I have to agree that's a great color choice.

Then again, I'd better think so because that's almost exactly the color we just painted our guest bathroom!

I, too, have had to write "I love you" in paint on the wall...it can get you out of a lot of trouble! (I painted our kitchen when my fiance was on a trip to the Bahamas {without me, I know!!} and he didn't know I was painting!)

Great choice for the color--definitely not too purple!;)

That is definitely not purple-ish at all! It's such a nice grayish blue, and it goes great with the hard wood floor!
