First off, the trip itself, including a 3 hour layover in Dallas-Ft. Worth was not that bad. We arrived in Florida around 6:00 and promptly got to decorating the condo for Lacey's surprise. It's not my best work, but I think it came out well given the options and time! :)

Of course the guys first order of business was to bust out some brewskies and so I was able to visit the largest liquor store ever. I want to return. It was easily the length of a football field and definitely wider. Their selection was amazing. It wasn't even selection, I dare say they honestly had everything you could ever hope to consume!

We beached it up the first day at Ft Myers beach , on which my 32 week picture was taken. And um, Tony and I apparently fail at applying sunscreen. Apparently it does not matter the frequency, but more the quality of application. I'll show you what I mean later.
We ate at several good restaurants for dinner while in Ft. Myers and enjoyed eating our sandwiches in the sand, while at the beach. Thankfully everyone was in the mindset of being cheap, so we didn't have one person or couple splurging in front of us all!

We also went to Sanibel Island and San Marco Island. I honestly couldn't pick a favorite, Ft. Myers definitely had the best sand, but Sanibel and San Marco were tied for beauty.

On Sanibel, we stopped at Cheeburger, Cheeburger, one of Beth's favorites. It's basically a trade up from Fuddrucker's in that you can order different sized burgers with a pleathora of options for toppings. Also fabulous, the Butterfinger shake. What an indulgence!
We also managed to score some time to attend a Twins game. They lost, badly, but we had an amazing time! We had lawn seats and I don't know if I'll be able to go to a game at the Dome this year, it was so fantastic to be close to the game and out in the sun! We also ran into my friend from college's parents lol.

Tony max relaxin on the deck.

My new favorite chain, Mimi's Cafe. Tony and I did manage to spend quite a bit of quality time together in the evenings when we just couldn't keep up with the rest of the crew.
Pictured is the mousse ensemble + mini brownie, which was lemon mousse with raspberry syrup and blueberries, strawberry mousse with whipped cream and chocolate mousse with strawberries! Phenomenal!
