and turned it into this, and I couldn't be happier!

Thankfully there weren't any surprises! So next up, demolishing the bathtub and tearing out the ceiling and floor laminate. In addition to that we have to pick out the hardwood for the vanity, as we're still stuck on that one, and decide on the floor and shower surround tile. I want to wait on the tile choice until we actually see our countertop, so we'll have to see.
After working hard throughout the majority of the day, I knew the perfect ending! Dining out at our local pizza joint! I suggested it to him about an hour left to work and I swore he could have jumped for joy, if he of course could actually still jump at that point. :) We met up with my Mom and my brother for a great trip down memory lane. Who else loves shrimp pizza?!

That looks so good!! I can't wait to see the main bathroom complete! Nice job guys.
Never had shrimp pizza but I love both separately! Congrats on the hard work thus far...it looks awesome!
It looks really great!
You must be way neater than me, there is no way I could take a shower in one like that without getting water anywhere. :)
Wow Leah! That looks so incredible. You have such a great, hard-working husband! :)
WOW! You guys have been very busy lately! The basement bathroom looks great! I love the shower curtain and rug. Good luck with the renovations upstairs! I bet it will be done before you know it :)
You're a great wife for suggesting pizza! I swear, Jared would do anything for the greasy stuff...I will have to keep that in mind when we buy and renovate a house. Pizza = motivation and progress!
I love both of the bathrooms ;) Looks like it was a busy weekend. I looove your shower curtain. Shrimp pizza? Yeesh.
I love the shower curtain. The bathroom looks great. Tony is a hard worker and shrimp pizza sounds horrible! :)
Looks awesome! :)
Props to the hubby! Things are looking great! I love the candle wall art!! :)
YUM!!!!
Nice work!! Can't wait to see the nursury!
Your renovations are going to look fantastic. Completely worth the trouble of getting ready in the basement!
Looks like you lit a fire under Tony...renovations are moving so fast at your place! The bathroom looks great, can't wait to see the next one... and the nursery :)
Tony has mad skillz. I'm so impressed!! Can't wait to see the finished project. :)
The basement bath looks wonderful! Pssst, can we borrow Tony for demolition on our upstairs bath? I can pay him w/ pizza =)
You guys have been busy, girl!
It is looking awesome!!
Wow! Tony's the handyman! I'm impressed.
I've never had shrimp pizza before. It sounds interesting :)
Like I said before, I am super jealous of Tony's skills. Maybe he should do tutorials so those of us with hubbys who aren't so talented in the home improvements area could do some learning!
It's looking great!
My husband loves shrimp on pizza. I don't like it. We always get that pizza at Broadway and luckily we're with others and they want that pizza too.
Ditto Chelsie! Tony could TOTALLY have his own blog to show off his man skills.
So impressive! Good work, Tony! I can't wait to see the pink bathroom finished now, too.
Your new bath looks awesome. I bet that it is worth the trip to the basement. I can't wait to see how the new one turns out.
I'm either way too tired tonight or really confused (or both). Is this a nursery update or a bathroom update? Either way, it looks awesome, but I wouldn't recommend putting baby bless in the shower to sleep. Love the shower curtain!
Great job!!! Aren't you glad you're getting this done before the baby is here :)
what a talented husband! The basement bath is gorgeous. Can't wait to see the upstairs completed!
Demolition seems like so much fun! I hope our next house is a fixer-upper so I get to throw a sledge hammer around for awhile, lol!
