Little updates

Tony went on his first pregnancy induced trip for me. This morning I woke up severely desiring a bagel. Last Sunday it was pancakes, which were no problem as I could make them, but bagels? No matter my frugal bone, I just didn't think I could bake myself some bagels lol. So off he went this morning to fetch some bagels from Panera. Honestly, I think he was happy to do it, as I've basically gotten through this so far without any assistance {okay fine, he's stepped up in helping with housework!}. But truly, I think he was glad to be doing something for me. I definitely could tell it was a craving, because I can not remember the last time I ate a blueberry bagel when I had a choice, let alone seeking it out!

YUM! Love the melted cream cheese.
(Is anyone else anal about applying whatever the topping
immediately after the toasted item leaves the toaster?)

We ran to Target to some dog shampoo . . . which of course resulted in some gandering at the baby section. As it turned out, we made our first baby purchase today! Yes, I'm serious, the very first item that we have purchased for the baby! It happened today. Almost 5 months in (20 weeks tomorrow people, that equals halfway!) Can't beat the clearance section.

Look at the cute little tiger and soccer balls! Although, Tony and I have noticed that there is a severe over sight in hockey related apparel. We're going to be making some phone calls. :)

Oh um, unrelated to the job front, I have something huge to announce . . . say around Wednesday. I'll leave you in suspense, but will take guesses.

yummy I love Panera Bread! I will take a guess...is it the sex of the baby? Judging from the outfit it looks like a baby boy! :) Just a guess though!

Uhm...I'm on another planet today! I just read futher down the page and it says you ARE having a BOY! I'm a doofus! So I guess the big announcement is something else???

I've never had Panera Bread, I go for Einstein's bagels :). I like to apply both cream cheese AND butter on my bagels so it always gets deliciously sloppy.

I'm a terrible guesser, so I'll just be waiting and waiting for Wednesday!

I love me some Panera bagels!

How fun to make your first purchase, and boo to no hockey apparel. David is a hockey player, too! : )

--Waiting patiently for your big news--

Our first gift we a Wild jersey from my dad- we are still waiting on it's counterpart to arrive in the form a Redwings jersey. What can I say, we are a divided family. I spent part of Friday researching mini-mites...I think we need to start a hockey savings account now.

Love the cute little outfit.

Hmmmm...no guesses as to the surprise, but can I just say I hate being in suspense. Can't wait to hear!

Ummmm yes, extremely anal about immediately applying topping to toasted items. Hoping you found a super cool job that is going to pay you lots and will give you paid maternity leave after only 4 months on the job.

Oh, not related to the job. So I'm wrong, but I do hope that happens for you.

I can't believe you made it five months without buying anything for the baby! Good for you! I would probably have enough for an army of babies if I were you.

As for your announcement...I'm an inpatient person! I hate waiting and guessing! LOL. Umm....I think you said it wasn't job related...and for some reason when I read your blog on the 12th I thought you were going to say you were having twins, but I don't think that could be it either because I would think that maybe you would have a bigger baby bump, but who knows. Maybe not. You're in really good shape, so it's very possibly that you could "hide" it well if you were having twins.

Did you win the lottery, or a really awesome vacation?! Oh wait! Did you feel the baby kick?! I give up. I'm the worlds worst guesser.

Hmm..I hate surprises! lol.. I'm going to guess that you felt your first kick! Or maybe its news on the job front. Either way, I'm sure it will be exciting! :)

As for the baby clothes, I didn't buy a single item until I knew it was a boy either... my husband didn't want him dressed in green/yellow so I had to hold off! Love the outfits you picked out!

Oh, you are evil!! Now I'm dying for Wednesday to get here.

My guess - you found a new job. It's better hours/pay/benefits than the last one. Plus, you get an extra month of paid maternity leave.

Hey, I've got my hopes set high for you. ;)

I cannot believe that you're halfway through!! You are still so tiny!

Can't wait to hear the news on Wednesday!

I get sooo bummed when my cream cheese melts. I'd rather eat my bagel cold so it won't melt!

Seriously...you're leaving us hanging until Wednesday??!! You know if I lived anywhere near ya I'd march on over and bribe you with bagels :)

*taps foot impatiently as it is now Wednesday and no announcement has been made*
