What a day.

1) First of all, I'm an aunt! Wyatt Mitchell was born this morning at a nice 7 lbs 1 oz and 19 1/2 inches. My sister in law is doing quite well for recovering from her c-section.
I told Wyatt he needs to have a convo with his cousin about birth weight, I would love for a nice 7lb healthy baby!
He's a yawner! :) Such a cutie pie and look at all of that hair!

2) The Vue won't start, again. It's doing the same thing we took it in for 3 1/2 weeks ago. It's not even/for surely funny at this point. I'm seriously at my wits end. I don't know how to have a positive outlook! We contacted the dealership that sold it to us {not the one that serviced it less than a month ago, who told us $9K for trade in}. The sales manager asked Tony if he was serious about his request to buy back the the Vue {hey, you've got to start somewhere!} He offered us $7K. This would mean in 4 months time that we would take a hit of $6K. I know that the auto industry is hurting right now, but that's ridiculous!

3) I worked out while watching The Biggest Loser tonight! While not my typical pace, I did 1.7 miles at a 10 minute mile pace and rounded it out with some walking for 3 miles in 37 minutes. :) It feels sooooo good! Especially since I also hopped on the treadmill last night for 1.5 miles! My mind, body and Tony have been dying for me to relieve some stress via exercise. :)

4) It doesn't look like my cousin will be able to help us with Bridgit as orginally intended. He found out that all of his options would cause her pain {obviously not what I'm going for!!}. The plus side is that he found that out through a few of his friends who happen to be vets and who might be convinced to do a house call . . . so I'm enjoying my unexpected additional time with her as much as I can.

Congrats on becoming an aunt to a healthy and gorgeous baby boy!

Hope things get better with the Vue, I'd be super mad, too. Isn't there a Lemon Law or something of the sort?

Oh how adorable is that baby! I find it so exciting that sometime soon you will have one of your own :)

Like joi said, isn't there some kind of Lemon Law? At the very least I would file a BBB complaint. That's absurd.

Being an aunt is the best until they turn two (like my nephew almost is) and then all you ever from them is NO! NO! NO! Congrats!!!

Congrats auntie!

Ugh..I can feel your frustration with your car. As somebody who has little or no patience for those sort of things, I'd be pretty ticked off too.

I hope everything works out for your and your kitty :(

congrats on becoming an aunt. how exciting!

stupid vue. I would try and get rid of that thing asap. You might lose money but in the end it will save you a ton of headaches and worrying about whether your car is going to start or not.

isn't it nice to be in a workout routine again.

poor kitty. hopefully some kind vet will make a house call and everything will workout for you!

Congrats on the nephew. Now you have time to practice baby stuff w/him before your little guy shows up. Thanks for working out for me last night. I was wondering what was happening with Bridgit. I'm sure you'll find a solution that suits you.

Congrats on being an auntie, that totally sucks about the Vue, yay for exercising again, and I'm sorry about Bridgit. That sounded like the perfect option:(

Congrats on being an Aunt! I can't wait until I'm an aunt, but I'll probably have one of my own before that happens. I'm sorry about the Vue, I can't imagine dealing with that so soon after getting the car. I'm sorry about Bridgit, I know that it'll all work our for you two. Thinking of you!

Wyatt is so cute! I'm sorry about the Vue and that they won't give you a fair price on it - at least you got to exercise to relieve some of that stress :) I'm also sorry about Bridgit, but I just remembered my friend/former boss' vet put their dog down at their home. Let me know if you need the vet's info!

I am so jealous of your having a treadmill at home. I am seriously thinking about buying an elliptical and cutting our gym membership altogether, especially now that we're moving further from the gym.

You are in Minnesota, yeah? If so, here's the Minnesota lemon law. Knowing you, I think you've probably already researched it, but I think this gives a good overview of specifically what happens.

Thanks for the congrats! We're excited for the cousins to be close in age!

As for lemon laws, unfortunately they do not apply to our situation. We have checked. :(

Congrats on being Aunt Leah! :) He's adorable!

Crazy about the Vue!! God must have something really good in store next considering all the crazy complications you've undergone with this vehicle. I hope that you will find favor with the auto co and you don't end up losing ANY money whatsoever!!

Get it girl!! (Regarding the excercise =)

Best of luck with Bridgit and I hope for the easiest, painless and most comfortable method possible.

Ok, so I went to Old Navy today because I need a good pregnancy coat. I was intending to get the black version of your peacoat...and the only one they had in my size was kelly green! I feel like a copycat :o( So in any pictures that are taken in said coat, I'll give credit where credit is due, I promise!
