Presenting my "regrowth"

Friday, October 3, 2008

Okay, so I know that I don't wear my hair straight up from my head . . . but this is how bad it is! That's a solid 2" inches!

Or the fashionable way I wear it up is a given to induce screams from my coworkers.
I just had to share, because so many of you came to my hair's defense the other day . . . and I just needed to prove that 1). I was most certainly not looking for a compliment 2). my hair did not deserve the support you gave it! lol

And yes, I know it's thin and frizzy.

Well, first of all, it may be noticeable in these pictures, but it certainly is not noticeable in your pro-pics.

Second, even in these pictures, the color difference between your roots and the rest of your hair isn't that drastic!

haha... you're so funny. I would notice that on my own head (and it'd drive me crazy) but I wouldn't have on yours! :-)

You cannot tell in your pro pics and if you think that's bad. I haven't been to the salon since APRIL! Maybe I should make an appointment today....

I will come out of lurk-dom now...

I hair looks EXACTLY the same right now - it is totally grossing me out. However, my husband would never tell me to get it done again - I usually have to beg :-)

You are so funny. You can't tell at all in the pro pics.

You're cracking me up! It's really not bad at all!!! As a brunette how sported blonde locks for over 10 years - those roots are nothing ;)

it's really not that bad...besides, who hasn't had this issue before :)

All this "regrowth" business cracks me up! With such curly hair I've always been too afraid to color my hair since it's so dry anyway, so I really can't relate. Unless it's a super drastic difference, like brunette to bright blond, I don't think I would ever notice it on someone else!

You are silly - you cannot see it at all in your pics. It's not bad at all! Don't make me post pics of mine - I should just to prove to you that you have nothing to complain about.

And excuse me, what frizz? You're a funny girl Leah.

Oh, I so feel you pain. I went December to September without touching up my roots! I eventually went out, bought a box of brown hair dye at CVS and asked my stepsister to change it.

If it makes you feel at all better, (1) the difference in hair colors is very slight and (2) I didn't notice it at all in your pro pics. :)

I got my hair done a week ago. I had a solid 3 inches of re-growth going on. My hair people and doctor said that dying during pregnancy is fine...so dang it, I dyed it.

You look fabulous, but if you want an excuse to pamper, go for it!

Well, I don't think your hair looks that bad---like the others have mentioned. But I wanted to say that you if you run a full marathon next fall you are going to be one of those pimped out mommies who always kick ass on race day.

On the sidelines I saw a little baby in a stroller with her aunt or someone, holding a sign in front of the baby that said, "Go Mommy and Daddy." It made me want to cry, for reals. That is totally going to be you!!! :)

I'm the same as you...I notice that stuff big time but your color difference is really subtle!
