As if it needs to be titled, Random?

1. It looks like I didn't lose any of you through my posting drought, still steady at 96.

2. I've learned two things about this annual photo session business, 1). No matter what I think about my hair, I really do need to get it done beforehand 2). It should really be scheduled in close proximity to us actually training for something, anything!

3. It's already frigid in MN. We're saying hello to 30's in the morning.

4. I truly appreciate the responses I've received to my Tuesday ponderings. Most if not all gave me cause for thought and definitely have been dwelled upon.

5. I'm truly disappointed right now. Tony presented me with his mileage check yesterday and with much bravado told me to go get my hair done! Now, as pictures prove the case, I'm not one to be fussy about my hair, but it is in dire need of a trim and color retouch, but I just can't justify the expense. I was thrilled beyond words that Tony designated the money for that purpose . . . but the reality of our money doesn't reflect such frivolty. Last month we had to get new breaks and tires, obviously running us a little ragged in the financial department, but Tony's friend owns the shop and agreed to be paid in two sums. Unfortunately Tony didn't tell me that the 2nd was promised last Friday! So our fun money is now making due money. :(

30's?! Jealous am I!! I'm waking up to 70's and I get excited because I can comfortably wear a cardigan! haha Come 1:00 pm the heat is unbearable! The humidity is gone however! Yay!!

How sweet of your hubby to do that! I thought your hair looked great though! I know how you feel, once my roots start coming in, I feel like every day is a bad hair day!

Money is certainly no one's friend as of now. It's so annoying.

That was really sweet of Tony to tell you to use the money on yourself. Jared does the same thing every once-in-a-while to me...but I'm with you. I have a hard time spending money when I know there are bills to pay.

BTW...I think you looked beautiful in your pictures :)

Well, I think you look great in the pictures and I didn't even notice the roots (or "new growth" as my stylist says)but I can definitely relate with the hair situation. I am in dire need of a cut and color right now and every time I start to make the appointment some big necessary expense comes up. So frustrating!

I am jealous of your cool weather!! I loathe the heat and it was 100 degrees today here in So Cal. The grass is always greener on the other side, huh? ;)

How can you see how many readers you have? I have always wanted to know!!

How can you tell how may readers we have? Why can't I figure this on my own.

I think you look great - regrowth or not. (And for the record Leah, you cannot see your regrowth.) But that's real sweet of the Tonster. Yea, I just called him the Tonster.

I didn't think your hair looked like it needed to be done.

Oh, and I totally understand about the money thing. I almost always feel like I should be spending the extra "fun" money by putting it away for an emergency or something.

I totally feel your pain in the hair department. I chopped mine towards the end up the summer and have not kept up with it at all. But like you, I just can't justify spending the money on it right now.

and yes hello frigid weather. I walked to school this morning at like 7:30 and didn't bring a jacket. Big mistake. I was freezing the rest of the day. Farewell summer!

Be for real - your hair looks amazing in those pics.
And, don't take this the wrong way, but you have a cute little booty on you, girlie! lol
That stinks about your weather...we're high 80's and sunny skies all week. It's gorgeous.

That's wonderful of your hubby to encourage you to pamper yourself! That said, I don't see even a smidgen of "new growth" in the pictures!

If you aren't comfortable spending that much on yourself right now, is there a beauty school you could go to? The one here is under $50 for a cut and color...and they've always done a fantastic job!

Ditto to Meredith. Check out a local beauty school if you can. I just got my hair done at a school recently and LOVED it. And I saved a lot of cash :)

Your hubby is so sweet!

Sad day about the extra car expenses! I hate when expensive "un-fun" stuff like that comes up. That is so sweet of Tony to give you the money for some personal indulgence!
